Whether you're exploring faith for the first time, returning to church after many years, or looking for a church family to call home, you'll find a warm welcome at South Pasadena Christian Church.
Every Sunday at 10:00 AM, our worship and praise band leads the congregation in contemporary Christian music. Whether you enjoy singing along or prefer to listen and reflect, all are welcome to participate as much—or as little—as they feel comfortable. Following worship, Pastor Darrell shares a message rooted in Scripture and focused on faith, hope, and practical Christian living.
Before Pastor Darrell begins his message, the congregation offers a blessing to the children as they make their way upstairs to Sunday School. Through Bible stories, Scripture memorization, and engaging activities, children are encouraged to learn about God’s love and build a strong foundation of faith. Along the way, they have the opportunity to make friends, share experiences, and form connections that can last a lifetime.
For children under five, nursery care is available with age-appropriate activities designed to keep little ones engaged and happy. We love having children in our church and understand that babies sometimes cry and toddlers sometimes wiggle. Parents never need to feel embarrassed—families are an important part of our church community.
Since 1906, South Pasadena Christian Church has been serving the community as a place of worship, fellowship, and service. Over the years, our church has grown into a warm and welcoming congregation where people from many different backgrounds and walks of life come together as one family of faith.
One of the things that makes SPCC special is the genuine sense of connection between generations. Children, parents, grandparents, and longtime members share meals, celebrations, service opportunities, and special events throughout the year. Visitors are invited to stay after the service and enjoy a home-cooked meal while we get to know you, answer any questions you may have, and help you feel right at home. Newcomers are always welcome at our guest table, where friendly faces are ready to share a meal and introduce you to our church family.
We strive to create a place where questions are welcome, faith can grow, and everyone feels encouraged, supported, and valued. Whether you are exploring faith for the first time or have been part of a church community for years, there is a place for you here.
