Aaron’s Fundraising Page!

Bio: My name is Aaron Bergmann.

This summer I’m going on a mission trip with South Pasadena Christian Church to serve the Crow Nation in Montana, July 30th-August 7th.

For more about the trip, click here.

I volunteer at South Pasadena Christian Church as a youth leader and deacon.  I look forward to every Sunday at SPCC because I honestly think that something incredible happens every week and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

I’ve spent the last 7 years as a middle and high school teacher, but I spend my free time with my wife Corinne and my friends in the outdoors.  I love hiking, climbing, exploring, camping, backpacking, bushwacking, and running.  Favorites places to visit in California are Yosemite, Joshua Tree, Idyllwild, and the rugged California coast.  One of my favorite books: Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

Why I’m going: I’m going on the trip because I believe in the transformative power of mission on both the host (Crow Nation) and visitor (SPCC), and that it occurs when God facilitates a cultural and theological exchange between the host and visitor.

What we’re doing: We will be assisting low income individuals and families, performing much needed repair and other work around their homes, many of which are in very bad shape. Moreover, we will be showing kindness in general in whatever ways we can think of or present themselves while on our trip.

Make sure you select my name from the menu when giving. You can see how much I have raised so far by looking at the fundraising thermometer! Feel free to post comments below and check back often to see how fundraising and plans for the trip are going.

Thanks for your support!
